Mr. Neil Botha (Training Officer – Electronics) proudly stands with the Teachers as they display their electronic projects that they had built during the training session.

In 2013, Majuba TVET College was approached by the Department of Basic Education (DBE), as part of its’ CAPS Project (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement), to capacitate Teachers in the practical components of the subjects: Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology and Civil Technology.

Newcastle Training Centre (NTC) is currently training high school Teachers from KwaZulu- Natal on Motor Mechanics, Welding, Electrical, Fitting & Turning, Plumbing and Boilermaking. The 5- day training programme assists Teachers with the practical components of the engineering subjects, Grade 10 to 12.
