Majuba TVET College launches the Online Application pilot project

Majuba TVET College staff members are focused and keen to grasp as much information as possible at the Online Application pilot project induction.

A pilot for online application, selection and provincial registration was officially launched at the Newcastle Training Centre recently.

In attendance were Senior Management, Campus Managers, various departments such as HETMIS, Exams, and Marketing , as well as HOD’s and administration staff from campuses. Mr. S. J. Mlotshwa (Principal – Majuba TVET College), thanked all staff for honouring the invitation and attending the induction. He further stated that, “I am very excited about todays’ training, as our College is one of the Colleges chosen to participate in this programme with further intensive implementation to follow.”

Mrs. Zandile Nkabinde (Deputy Principal: Academics), unpacked the background, scope and objectives of this project, stating that the project is to inform the ongoing process of designing a central application system (CAS).

Majuba TVET College is one of only nine of the 50 TVET Colleges in the country to pilot this project and the only one in KwaZulu- Natal.
