Employer Responsibilities:
Should you as employer decide to make use of Newcastle Training Centre as a Training Provider we would like to bring the following aspects to your attention.

Learner Reservations, Payments & Refunds
Learner reservations for training courses must be made at least THREE weeks before commencement of the course. A learner will not be allowed on course if the course fee is not paid in full or if an official company order has not been received. Refunds for learner withdrawals will only be processed if THREE WEEKS written notice has been given (by FAX or E-mail)

The College is under no obligation to arrange or provide any kind of transport for learners.

The DRAKENSBERG LODGE has various categories of accommodation available. Should you wish to make use of their facilities please liaise with them directly. Their contact details are provided on page 2.

Withdrawal And Absenteeism
Learner withdrawals and absenteeism must be brought to the attention of the Newcastle Training Centre, Planning Office as soon as possible.

Safety Equipment
The employer must equip the Learner with the necessary safety clothing /equipment and resources as prescribed by Newcastle Training Centre and by OHS legislation.

All enquiries, complaints or dissatisfaction about training standards, discipline, training facilities, or any other matter must be directed to the Manager: Newcastle Training Centre.

Apprentice Contracts / Learnership Agreements
It is the employers responsibility to conclude a Training Contract with the Learner. Should you, the employer require assistance in this matter, please make the necessary arrangements with the Newcastle Training Centre, Planning Office.
